0:01 hello and welcome to part 2
0:03 an art demonstration all the exodus to be a mess integration
0:07 with net sweets and this demonstration we're going to be looking at the sales
0:12 order process
0:13 and picking and dispatching an s3 sales order
0:17 say we fest will get to our net sweet
0:20 sales order screen and to add a new sales order we choose
0:25 a customer here on cheese
0:29 accys in this example and
0:32 at a couple approx to the
0:36 so I will go for the products we received in the previous demonstration
0:41 so that was the I'm 1709
0:45 I'm were just pick have for the moment
0:48 well let's put in constitutive for life
0:52 and add another right here and this time we'll go for the HP
0:59 and that was that 230 mccain and
1:04 to constitute three in there okay so
1:08 we need to make sure we choose our fulfillment warehouse because that's the
1:13 warehouse gonna pick from
1:15 and we're gonna flag this record
1:18 to download into am axles
1:22 okay so all of those a settings the reason we have this plaque here is to
1:27 ensure
1:28 that we are happy to release it to the warehouse for picking
1:32 so them we've take that am we save it
1:36 so
1:40 that sales order much like the purchase order
1:43 is now cents to the warehouse
1:46 management system for processing so
1:49 in the warehouse system we have I am
1:53 a different grid this time the sales order grid
1:57 and the sales order grade much like the
2:00 purchase order grid can be filtered and you can see we have a various
2:04 selection of filters here and just
2:07 while we wait for the interface to pick up that order here we go
2:10 you can see here and there were currently looking at the filter by date:
2:15 ordered
2:15 I am we could also and this example a clip by
2:19 the shipping code so this would be the carrier
2:22 that we want to distribute the product on
2:25 now we only have one order in this example so
2:29 you can see the order here's got two lines on a
2:32 eight units and an estimated weighted
2:36 210 we can also put in the system
2:40 labor standards so we can estimate how long it would take to pick this order
2:45 for example now if we've got multiple orders on the system
2:49 XL sweats group them together to create waves a wave
2:53 picking requests whereby a single user
2:56 on a handheld scanner can go and pick a group about 10 more orders
3:01 in this instance we're just going to take order to 20
3:06 am and festival allocated
3:09 to stock in the in the warehouse so we just
3:12 allocate that their and
3:15 them the order you say now has allocated
3:19 to YouTube in locations a 98 a
3:22 and a 98 D which were the two locations
3:25 that we put the stock into in are receiving demonstration now once I'm
3:30 happy with the allocation
3:32 I vote wave out the order and
3:35 what this has the effect you doing is printing a pic ticket
3:38 in May from print custom label both these are optional
3:42 in fact we don't need to pick ticket now demonstrate why not
3:46 so we send out the or down what this will do is generate a unique
3:50 carton label and so that you know
3:53 a.m. what carton this stock has been put into
3:58 after its been picked from the Steuben locations
4:01 so in this instance the carton label is
4:04 34 sir whole series of numbers but member the 34 the end
4:08 and we give that label to a pic /a I am
4:12 to go and pick so on their handheld scanner now we look back in
4:19 and we log back in as picking
4:23 operator again we have multiple options from the menu here
4:27 and to do various different types are picking a
4:31 batch picking i picking more than one order already at a time
4:34 put up picking where we override the pic path that the system is defined for us
4:39 a scanner picking where we scan every single and individual unit
4:43 rather than entering quantity said various different styles
4:46 which is gonna stick with our regular picking style and
4:49 we're going to include all zones I am and we're gonna start
4:55 at the beginning am by scanning the label
4:59 that I mentioned earlier so we pick up that carton label
5:02 and it's got six zeros
5:06 34 normally you just scan this
5:09 and you see here that is picked up that is 10 to two lines
5:13 an eight units if I'm gonna pick another order I would have another label and I
5:17 would scan that
5:18 months I'm happy that I have my way for job
5:21 to pic it will now send me on one path
5:25 through the warehouse in been sequence so
5:28 I don't need to pick ticket for the very reason that on the scanner it shows me
5:32 to pick five packs 1 from been a 98 K
5:37 an it asked me to scan the barcode so if I were to scan
5:41 a different product for example the hand Appleby
5:45 saying that it can't find the product that it's looking for so
5:48 you won't as a picker be out to move forward to the next step
5:52 and to you select the actual product
5:55 is looking for it now I asked me to pack
5:59 5 and units into this particular carton which is the one tied to the order here
6:04 so
6:05 number 34 am so again if we scanned
6:09 a.m. 32 for example it will not let me move on
6:12 social picky multiple orders into multiple cartons
6:16 on a trolley at the same time you'll be forced to scan
6:19 into the right car correct custom a carton
6:23 say I will enter 34
6:26 and finally I'll confirm the quantity in which in this
6:30 cases five now that takes me to the next been location
6:34 so 98 day at different products are now asked to pick
6:39 2302 132 here
6:42 and again confirm the carton
6:46 if I want to I can generate another
6:50 a car label so if I fill a box I can print a label
6:53 am but in this instance will put it all in
6:56 to the one box and again we confirmed the quantity
7:03 and that's the end to the job if I go back here you'll see
7:06 that this status a this order is now I'm writing
7:10 you'll see that this carton and now has product in it I can
7:14 drill into that and see the products the two
7:18 products that we picked are in now embedded in in that carton
7:22 so it keeps a full carbon contents as you go around
7:25 picking the order okay if I go back to the hand how
7:29 and say no that's the end my job I can
7:33 I the move to receive in job all carry on picking a new order
7:38 back on the an on the administrator screen
7:43 here I can see that the order is in writing which basically means
7:47 that is ready to ship now the reason we haven't got it automatic
7:51 shipping which you can do is that and some cases you may want to scan each
7:56 individual carton
7:57 onto the onto the truck all
8:00 you may want to release all the orders when the carrier comes to pick up
8:05 into a group for packages
8:08 so you by using the Order Management screen we can see
8:12 here we've got one order in writing maybe we had 10 orders
8:15 or going out with the same carrier would simply select the 10
8:20 right click and mr. them to ship
8:23 okay okay so
8:26 I'm we now ship that order and if we go back
8:29 to our sales order in net sweet
8:33 and just refresh the order
8:36 and we can then
8:40 and the refreshed order then is showing
8:45 the fulfillment for the two lines and basically that's the
8:50 integration on the sales side and so
8:53 please take a look at the other video on receiving and
8:56 but hopefully they can see a view of the integration between the XLS to be a mess
9:01 and the net sweet prison system many thanks
